He/She Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, coordinating, and supervising infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring they are executed with quality, safety, efficiency, and compliance with technical standards and legal requirements. Participates from the stage of surveying and design to the execution, control, and delivery of the project, coordinating resources, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with scope, schedule, and budget.
Main functions and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review plans, calculation reports, technical specifications, and measurements/budgets.
- Plan the project: schedule, logistics, personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Supervise field execution: quality control, progress, performance, and compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate with architecture, MEP, surveying, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage change orders, estimates, measurements, valuations, and progress reports.
- Verify compliance with occupational safety and health and environmental standards.
- Resolve technical incidents on site and propose constructive solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation of the project: logbook, as-built plans, minutes, and final delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (licensing/registration if applicable)
- Experience in civil works and/or buildings (depending on the type of project).
- Proficiency in tools: AutoCAD, Excel, budgeting software (e.g. Presto/Neodata).
- Knowledge of regulations, quality control, reading plans, measurements, and project management.
- Skills: leadership, communication, negotiation, results-oriented, and problem-solving.
Desirable
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in writing logs.
- MS Project.
- Revit.
- Advanced analytical skills
